We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for standard engagements and 3–6 months ahead for large-scale events, tours, or conferences. Holiday season dates (November–January) fill quickly — book early.

A signed Booking Agreement and a non-refundable deposit are required to hold your date. The deposit amount is discussed during the booking process. The balance is due on or before the event date as outlined in the agreement.

Kevin performs at a wide range of events including church services, revivals & conferences, concerts & festivals, weddings, private & corporate events, and studio recording sessions. He also offers music direction and artist touring support. If you don't see your event type listed, reach out — every engagement is considered.

Yes. Based in New Jersey, Kevin is available worldwide. Travel, lodging, and per diem costs for out-of-area engagements are the responsibility of the client and will be outlined in the Booking Agreement. Virtual and remote drum tracking sessions are also available.

Kevin travels with personal sticks, hardware, and essential accessories. For most engagements, a house drum kit is expected to be provided by the venue or client unless otherwise arranged. If a full backline arrangement is needed, please note this in your booking inquiry.

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event forfeit 50% of the total agreed fee. In cases of force majeure, Kevin will make every effort to provide a qualified substitute. See the full Terms & Conditions for details.

Yes. A W-9 form is available in the Professional Documents section of this website and will also be provided upon request at the time of booking. It is required for all paid engagements.

By submitting a booking request, completing a Booking Agreement, or engaging Kevin Bowden Jr. ("Artist") for any performance, recording, or professional service, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all engagements unless otherwise modified in a signed written agreement between both parties.

All dates are subject to availability. A booking is not confirmed until a signed Booking Agreement and the agreed-upon deposit have been received by the Artist. The deposit is non-refundable and serves as compensation for reserving the engagement date. The remaining balance is due on or before the event date as specified in the Booking Agreement.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to bookings@kevinbowdenjr.com. The following schedule applies:

• 14 or more days before event: Deposit is forfeited; no additional charges.
• Within 72 hours of event: 50% of the total agreed fee is due and payable.
• Same-day cancellation: 100% of the total agreed fee is due.

In the event the Artist must cancel due to illness, injury, or emergency, the Artist will make every reasonable effort to provide a qualified substitute of comparable skill and experience. If no substitute is available, a full refund of all monies paid by the Client will be issued within 10 business days.

The Client is responsible for providing a safe, suitable, and adequately equipped performance environment. This includes but is not limited to: a functional stage or performance area, appropriate sound system and monitor support, and reasonable green room or preparation space. The Artist reserves the right to refuse or cease performance if conditions are deemed unsafe without penalty or refund obligation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client is responsible for providing a suitable house drum kit and backline equipment. The Artist will provide personal sticks, cymbals, and accessories. Any equipment needs specific to the engagement must be communicated and agreed upon prior to signing the Booking Agreement.

For engagements outside of New Jersey, the Client agrees to cover all reasonable and pre-approved travel costs including transportation, lodging, and per diem. Travel arrangements and expense caps must be confirmed in the Booking Agreement. Remote and virtual sessions are available and do not incur travel costs.

Any audio or video recording of the Artist's performance — whether for live streaming, archival, commercial release, or any other purpose — must be explicitly authorized in writing prior to the event. Unauthorized recording or distribution of the Artist's performance is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, acts of God, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such cases, both parties agree to work in good faith toward a mutually acceptable resolution.

The Artist's total liability to the Client for any claim arising out of an engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for that engagement. The Artist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

These Terms & Conditions and any related Booking Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey.
